News Welcome to the re-vamped ABPL website. We have added some enhancements to make our award-winning website even more useful to our clients. With many thousands of pictures on our site, finding the one to match your requirements can sometimes be a case of 'too much choice', so our image search function now offers several additional options to allow you to narrow down your search results. We have also added new Lightbox features making it easier for you to create and manage collections of images which can be stored for future reference or emailed to your clients or colleagues. We hope that you find the new features straightforward to use. As with all things new, the changes might take a bit of exploration so if you would like one of the ABPL team to talk you through all that our site has to offer, please do not hesitate to call us on 020 8877 1123. We have recently taken on a number of great new photographers so that our site offers you more mouth-watering images in an even greater range of styles. In particular, our collection of vineyard, wine-making and drink related images has grown. Please remember, that ABPL is more than just a website. The ABPL team are a very friendly bunch who love food (and drink) who know our image collection intimately. If you're searching our site and can't find what you're looking for or if what you see isn't quite right for your project, please remember that we are here to help. New Photographers Sam Stowell Sam Stowell comes from a family of food lovers, so developed a passion for all things edible at an early age. Sam's choice of career was also influenced by his father Roger Stowell; one of the UK's first specialist food photographers (and who is also represented by ABPL). Sam's images show how much he enjoys his subject matter: he gets in close and, whilst his style is graphic and contemporary, his images show a real warmth and appreciation of natural colour and texture. Sam works freelance for a variety of clients including Marks and Spencers, Waitrose, Tescos and an array of food magazines. He has also undertaken editorial commissions for a number of books. Sam's most memorable job involved photographing a young chef who had just won an award for his organic pork pies - unfortunately, the sixteen year old prodigy got rather drunk at the pork-pie feast put on to mark the end of the day and ended up declaring his undying love for everyone involved in the shoot - including the client!
